Still Waters is Biblical-based and provides ONLINE and IN-PERSON pastoral counseling, coaching, leadership training, and various pastoral services. That's something I had never experienced. Having someone that I could be transparent with about my actual thoughts, feelings, and struggles helped mold me into the person I am today. HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION?
Each session is scheduled for 50 minutes.
CAN I DO MY SESSION VIRTUALLY?
Yes, you can, but I also offer in-person sessions.
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
Although I am an ordained minister and a certified life coach, most insurance companies won't cover pastoral counseling or life coaching.
ARE YOU AVAILABLE AFTER HOURS OR FOR EMERGENCIES?
I do have limited early morning and evening appointments. If something comes up suddenly, the fastest way to reach me is to text me at 208-818-2677.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE MY APPOINTMENT?
As long as it is more than 24 hours from your appointment time, you can reschedule at no additional fee.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
Unless you are including your children in the counseling session, you will need to find childcare for young children.
WHAT IS YOUR RATE?
Counseling and coaching fees start as low as $100 per session.
DO YOU TAKE PAYMENTS?
Fees are due at the time of each session. We accept cash, check, credit cards, Venmo, Apple Pay, Square, and PayPal.
IS IT CONFIDENTIAL?
100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions, just like in a confessional or when seeing a therapist.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COUNSELING AND COACHING?
In general, pastoral counseling helps you work through some sort of struggle and/or helps you build your faith and relationship with Jesus and others . Coaching is more focused on defining goals, developing strategies, creating a plan, removing obstacles, and providing accountability along the way.
